Why Live in Golden?
Why the heck not?
Let's talk quality of life for a moment. The big buzzword these days for assessing "Best Places to Live" seems to be the "Walkability" of location. Well a big checkmark for Golden as Goldenites are within easy hoofing distance to over a dozen museums, 2 brewerys, a handful of trails, bars, restaurants, an many other things to satisfy your body and mind thoroughly. Looking to walk to a nightclub to dance til dawn? You have the wrong town, but we don't care. Have to get in your car and sit in traffic just to buy milk and bread? That sucks, I know. I routinely used to contemplate jabbing a pencil into my eye while sitting into traffic. Hence, one big factor in my decision in moving to Golden: wanting to continue to see.
Get out and walk.
